I had a new egr valve fitted around 65000 miles as the car was losing power intermittently - power more off than on
The same symtoms started again recently around 105000 miles - engine management light came on and so took it in to my regular garage.
They put the car on the computer and the following codes were noted
01027
01026
They carried out a fuel treatment and reset the computer - so no engine management warning light displayed.
The car was great for a day and a half - no problems at all . However on the second day the Engine management light was back on and the car was losing power again!!! However it is definately not as bad as it was before taking it in . I would say the power is more on than off at the moment but still intermittant.
I dont really want to spend another £300 on a new egr valve
