Mine - a 6 year old Ford Escort - family are big ford fans.

She was a 1.4i 75bhp, navy blue saloon. I didnt like the seats, so i found a GHIA that was in a scrappy, so i bought them for a few quid and put them in. It was a big thing to have rear headrests. I learned alot about fixing cars with it. I managed 55mph in 2nd gear! Didnt crash it though...might of tipped another car up the back as i was too close...but no damage done.

What about you all?

I had a a dark blue (can't remember the official name), 1984 Mini Mayfair. Class car.

I loved that car whilst I had it. I found a photo of it not so long ago and boy was it a pile of s**t!!!! Great first car though - cheap to buy, cheap to run, low insurance and little power!

I had a 1986 Austin Metro 1.0L

Absolute bag of tat, the heater only had 2 speed settings and the buttons on the dash were made of Duplo!!

Needless to say, I was not into cars at that age!
