As title really, its my A4 2.0 FSI. Just hit 70k last night and occurred to me that may need doing! Don't know if it's ever been done before.....

Not sure about the a4 specifically but 4yrs or 60k is a rough guide so if you don't know if it's been done, I'd get it booked in.

Thanks, will have to find out if it's been done then as cambelt change isn't exactly my idea of a sweet xmas present ha!

It could be 75k if i can recall, worth a call to the dealer. No harm shopping around either,

Managed to find the service book! Its 60k for some of the TDI's and 115k for 2.0l 4cyl. petrols apparently. Can't complain at that!

Id just give them a ring just incase but it should be as the book says. Happy days!

I'd agree with Gav. The belt is (or might be) 6 years old so I'd be tempted to get it done regardless of the mileage.

Get some quotes from local specialists.

Yeah may have to. I thought they'd have normally lasted way more than 6 years though...?? Seems quite a short life for a belt...

it probably would but safe rather than sorry most service checks do the 5 year interval on low mileage cars so well worth checking there are audi specialist on ebay who do the belts pretty cheap. supply and fit.
