Has anyone here got into the serious tuning of their motor - Im talking past remaps and induction kits!

Any of you diesel drivers uprated the injectors or turbos etc?

Id love to do some serious work on mine, but if im really being honest, I dont have the cash to deal with any cock ups - Its not like my old golf - a trip down to the local scrappies!

Hiya mate,

Just a Superchips 'Bluefin' remap and cat back non-res Milltek on mine, would love to go down the Hybrid Turbo etc route but don't really want the knock-on effects of new clutch/dmf and the reliabilty problems if i'm honest...

However, i'll let you know when i manage to squeeze a 3.0TDI into the A3.... [:D]

Hi Mate,

Ive heard the non res Milltek is quieter than stock! Is this true?

Any power differences with the new 'zorst?

Nooooo way mate lol! definate increase in nice deep tone on mine and a cool little rasp when you go for it! [:)]

The 'Butt' dyno says it feels perkier and boosts up earlier, wouldnt want to say about actual BHP increases but it makes the car 'feel' a lot nicer imo

The Resonated version is the quieter one and does sound like stock,

I'll see your V10 and raise you the V12 from the R8 TDi... [:D]
