Suspension differences between FWD and 4WD Quattro

I know with the MK1 platform A3 there were big differences between the FWD and 4WD running gear, especially at the rear. When lowering more parts were required to adjust camber etc. Has this trend carried over to the MK2 plarform Quattro models?

i.e. are rear tie rods required if lowering the MK2 Quattro?
