Hi Chaps.

My first proper post here for ages. But my Q is what are the issues (if any) around remapping my car.

Its a 2006 2.0T Multitronic - can the auto box cope with a remap?

Yep it can no problem. Havent heard of any of them failing from it. 250bhp will be the targeted figure?

Yes spot on steve, dont think I would want to put more than that. Just a mild tweek!

What do you think?

Revo? Superchips?AMD?

If i were you i would avoid maps that have a sharp torque spike. I would choose from the makes you have said but id want a stable torque figure....easier on internals.

Motech remap, veerryyy smmoth and Mike is a top lad! I cant sing his praises enough!! his maps are done for real world use and arent just out and out power, mine in my 140 tdi has done 10k already in 6 months and its still putting a smile on my face daily!
