Well cars all good apart from one thing

now the only problem is the radio .......

Ie bad signal for some reason its terrible to the point where theres no point listening to it ,

Cd's are better lol

so does anyone know what it can be ?

or what the car uses as an aerial ?

thankies in advance

sounds like chris moyles too me [:D]

to be fair i quite like him, its just sometimes at 6.30am, i don't want to listen to him hungover banging on about him him him and all his mates and storys.

As for the real reason, it does sound aerial related, pretty sure it runs behind the dash, get a radio removal tool from halfords for a few quid, piece of cake to pull the radio out far enough to check connections etc.

If you haven't got a beesting stuck on it somewhere, isn't it a case of using the back windscreen like most of the other VAG stuff??

Which means if you're driving away from the antenna you're fine - drive at it though, and unless the signal's good, yer screwed. Same in the TT - but tbh it works quite well cos the rear screen's that heaouge! [;)]

nah no sticks on the roof , so it must be the rear screen ,

think it will take the radio out and have a look at it and test the screen ,

will prob make one as it did that in one of my other cars when it was bad signal every where

Cheers matey for that , just spotted ya reply as havent been on for a bit

Problem solved now ,

i have run a new coax cable in, ie 15 meters long without cutting it ,

which allowed about 3 meters from the dash to the boot and left 12 meters to make an antenna form ie a loop type and mounted it out of sight

it works fantastic , .............and i am sure i picked up radio scotland the other day lol
