just wondering what sort of power people got from there mapped s3 210 or 225 engines and where you got the map from

Hi there,

The 210's and 225's go to a similar level when remapped. I would say conservatively they go up to around 250bhp as a standard car. I'd recommend doing at least a panel filter which will help the car breath a lot better. If you were then to go for a full turbo back exhaust with a 3'' downpipe and cat etc you could then go for stage 2 software which increases the bhp again but gives a great increase in torque.

We do the APR remaps and there should be an APR dealer close to you. Where abouts are you from?

You'll also need to uprate the TIP IIRC, don't they have a tendancy to collapse when rempapped?

well thats not good, that'll be the next upgrade £££. i've got a standard ARZ engine with a complete everything s3 set up from a APY engine twin coolers mainfolds etc etc the lot no map yet played about and got 253bhp from a standard engine on AMD rollers. so i might have to get a trial to see if it makes any differents to power gains

hi, im new to to all this... whats TIP? iv just bought an s3, it had a superchip remap, then had a Milltek sports cat and cat back exhaust... would you recommend a stage 2 remap to get better gains from the milltek? and if so, anything else i should be uprating before i do this (other than fmic coz its too expensive lol) i live about 10mins from awesome gti.

thanks for that mate, im not 100percent sure if mine has one of these or not. all i know is its a milltek non res cat back and a miltek sports cat.

TBH i wouldnt do a stage 2 remap on a exhaust alone. Probably need FMIC / air filter for that?

iv got a decent panel filter, so with the sports cat and exhaust it shud be breathin well, im hopin to find a cheap (second hand) bigger bore TIP, n then stage 2 remap.
