when trailing though itunes store i stumbled across this little trial app that will connect to your cars obdII port with additional hardware.
Gives you allsorts of info from 0-60 time 1/4 mile time g-force rating the list goes on.

Ah Wellsy has this on his iPhone! Had a quick look the other night, seems pretty good but we need to see it coupled with the Bluetooth OBDII interface for the full action.

Yes, it looks good but with out the wireless sender it does not do much (managed to get it to work as a G meter)

I'm wondering how much the little sender will be. If its similar to the cost of an original VAG COM cable, they I can't see them shifting very many.

If its reasonably priced, it will be pretty popular.

According their Dev log they're working on a 802.11 (WiFi) adaptor due to Apples licensing restrictions. Shame really as there are already a few Bluetooth OBDII adaptors out there already.

i presume it will be wifi due to the itouch not having bluetooth
