Since selling my Leon TDi I have been on the lookout for a nice A4. I wanted a TDi Auto at first but got advised not to bother with the Auto box as they can be a pain and just go without warning. Next on my list was a TDi 140, Saw quite a few that were just outside my budget so decided to carry on using the A3 TDi that my boss had lent to me (The joys of working at a used car sales place).

The other night Jake (cuprajake on here) sent me a text about a car he had seen advertised so arrangements were made & I went to see it.

The car was very clean with full history (mostly by Audi including timing belt) It drove spot on so a deal was done and I came home in it.

I can honestly say that I really do love driving the car, Its nice and smooth with plenty of power & once I have put my own stamp on it I will be more than happy.

Pics of the purchase

Looks nice and clean that mate, but you know it's going to have to be lowered just a little bit once you stick some alloys on there.

If your happy with how the rear sits though you can just fit some B5 perches on the front to lower it 15mm to level it out.

Here is the part number of those should you need them in the future

This comparison picture I took when lowering mine shows why they give you a drop

@ bigjim It is a nice clean one with a good spec as well. I wont be lowering for a while. I enjoy how comfy it is at the moment.

One thing I do need to do is see if I can find an Ipod lead that will fit into this thats fitted in the glovebox.

@ Dave it was mapped by a company called Hyperchips, But It has shown me that the diverter valve needs changing.

Wont know the true results until the diverter valve is changed, Ordered one from TPS today along with thermostst / coolant temp sensor & some coolant.

Also ordered some new lights for in the bottom of the doors that shine onto the ground, My current ones are these

I've seen those boxes for sale on eBay, so they will probably sell spare leads for them.

B5 perches will bring the front down level with the rear without effecting ride comfort. These things roll out of the factory with reverse rake, which only gets worse when you stick a pair of bigger alloys on there.

Searched every where for the leads but can only find the complete kit. Dont really wan the full kit as it would just be a wast of money.
