Hi I am looking at purchasing as set of 18 inch alloys for my 2001 audi a3 quattro.

I'm always one for doing something different and want my audi to look like no other.

Can I fit a set of Mercedes Lorrinser Alloys or amg mercedes turbine style alloys to my Audi?

These wont be originals but replicas ( as the originals are two piece)

the fitment is 5x100 et35 8.5 wide

Has anyone done this or knows someone who has the knowledge to advise me?

Hiya mate,

The Merc style rims are becoming more popular on the VW/Audi scene of late and 'Mike TDI' off here is in the process of fitting some to his 8P A3 TDi

Sounds like the ones you have in mind should fit ok, correct PCD for the 8L platform and iirc the offset for standard MK4 Golf / Audi A3 rims was ET38, so ET35 on an 8.5 inch rim should fill the arches very nicely [Y]

Don't forget the pics... [;)]
