Just saw on the Audi channel that if you register online Audi will do your next MOT for free.

I suppose they make their money, in that you are likely to get them to replace any parts.

I had this last month, car passed and they did a free health check and changed a bulb or 2 for free and the service was really, really good. Excellent in fact! Coming from VW service standards, I wasn't expecting much, but was really impressed.

The offer states that if the car fails they won't do anything without your permisison, but a re-test will be chargeable. I was thinking of using the free MOT to identify any problems and then fix them/get them fixed and re-MOT'd by my local independent specialist!

(The dealer was Swindon Audi by the way!)

The lass at my local just waived my MOT fee which was nice of her. She probably remembered last time I'd been in and the hell that broke loose, and thought it'd be easier [;)]
