Hello my eml has come on and Audi have rigged it up and told me the egr requires replacing. Is it worth going to Audi for this? My car is fash and would ideally like this to remain. I have negotiated costs down from £1330 to £660 inc vat. My car is a 2008 model I have owned it since October 2012, having purchased privately through auto trader. I was told Audi charge £120 p/h is this correct? Or is it £90 p/h?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

It depends if you want the full Audi service history or not. If i were a buyer id have no problem if you had the Audi reciept for parts bought and then a reciept from a Audi/Vw specialist for the labour- it might save you a couple of hundred but its up to you and how much hassle you want visiting different places
