Just a heads up for anyone in the NW area that's got a dealer visit upcoming, i've been using Audi Macclesfield (as have some other members) for a couple of years now and always had top notch customer service from all departments,

Great sales and service staff, parts manager really knows his stuff and is a VW/Audi nut too [Y]

Thought the place worthy of a mention as the usual perception (albeit in a lot of cases justified) of main dealers is less than complimentary at times lol!

What are they like for sales in terms of discounts and price matching, chaps?

They seem pretty willing to thrash out a deal imo Dave, i managed 5% off my ex-Demo A3 and got by far the best px price for my MKV Gti, so deal done... [Y]

I'd say it would definately be worth a phone call to them mate, you never know! Ask for a fella called Dave Hasler, both myself and Curley have had dealings with him and he's a decent bloke []

Sounds like they might be worth a call then. I know of one dealer who will discount to 12%. Some brokers are offering prices equating to 11% so I'm sure there are dealers out there who will play ball, so to speak.

Might try to sell my car privately to make things easier in terms of a deal.
