Have a problem with an A4. Car was running fine, was checking fuses as two lights not working-all fuses ok-car will now not start. Its battery is fine. Mechanic has no clue as to what the problem is-has anyone have any ideas-wondering if removing the engine managment fuse has killed the brain or done something to the imobiliser?

I'd say that the immobiliser has cut in and won't allow the car to start.

Try unplugging the battery for 10 mins and see if it fixes itself. If not the keys will have to be recoded by Audi

I would still try and get someone to plug it in see if it brings a fault up

Thank you for the replies-disconnected the battery for 10 min and the car started-thank you to those who took the time to reply. It appears the engine management fuse was pushed too far in as well.
