I've noticed the new common rail 140PS TDI engine now comes with a DPF.

Do you think this will cause problems with mapping like the PD170 did?

Would be interesting to know if any tuners have done a map for this engine yet.

AFAIK, it's not a problem with the mapping as such but more to do with the DPF.

I know there are problems with correctly heating up the DPF, maybe it has something to do with that then?

Didn't the original PD170 superchips map do around 230bhp but they had to knock it back to just over 200bhp to prevent the DPF issues?

Wonder if we can expect the same with the new 140 DPF, i.e. the tuners will only offer a 20bhp increase? []
